Help Needed and a Few Updates
Hello Dolphins Families,
This Saturday, June 19th is our 2nd official swim meet. This amazing team is a volunteer run organization. We cannot be successful without the help of each family who is on the team. We are still in need of MANY volunteers for this Saturday’s meet and the one on July 10th. If you can help this Saturday, please reply to this email and let Kim Smith know. If you can volunteer on July 10th, please go to the calendar on the website and select Job Signup.
Speaking of volunteers, we are starting to seek new people who are interesting in taking on a leadership role with the team next year. If you love having your children involved with the summer swim team, please think about helping out. Each role has different time commitments, but most of the work is done from March to July. We will fully train anyone that is excited to take on a role. You can talk to any of the current or former board members to ask about positions.

CHAMPS- We are getting a ton of questions about this and we would love to give you more details but we don’t have them. The St. Johns Summer Swim League is still in negotiations with Plant Swim to see if we can hold it at their facility the weekend of July 17-18. We promise to share more once we know it.
End of Season Banquet- YES! We are having a party this year. It will be on Monday, July 19th from 6-8pm. More details to come soon, but save the date.
Summer Swim Schedule- Attached is an updated version of the summer swim schedule. Please take note that there is practice on Saturday, June 26th, but NOT July 3rd.
